Hi!  I'm Linda Jessen, Lead Dog Trainer Owner of Obedient Dog Training.  

Linda has over 15 years experience working with dogs professionally.  Linda started her training journey over 30 years ago with horses and then dogs.  Linda watched many of her friends and pet sitting clients struggle with stressful problems like jumping, barking and pulling on the leash.  Having gone through the same struggles with her own dogs, she wanted to share how to help other dog owners experience the freedom and fun of having a happy companion that listens!  From leash pulling, barking, jumping or counter surfing, together we will fix those problems so that you can start having a fuller, stress free life with YOUR best buddy too!   

Linda has worked in the dog care and animal care industry full time for over 15 years.  She has worked for private AKC show kennels, helped foster rescue dogs, caring for and training dogs through her pet sitting/dog walking service.   Linda has also enjoyed participating in dog training groups, dog sport activities and participated in dog shows with her German Shepherd.  She has had the chance to  learn from many experienced dog trainers spanning different breeds and disciplines. They include  successful dog sport trainers, show dog trainers, retired and active duty police and military K9 trainers.
